Not only does Tesla do cars but Grid balancing battery storage at the Gigawatt level but also does home batteries and solar installations throughout the world. Their software is used to monitor and balance the grid in a two 24h operational monitoring centres that get their information fed via SpaceX Starlink internet network to the mothership and to the National Grid operators of each country.

Their software can analyse batteries in their grid balancing Megapacks (Storage of 1 Megawatt of Ekectricity) to individual cell level and knows when any cell in a battery will fail or about to fail and so avoids outages and replaces them !
